Spicy Juice
Ingredients
• 1/2 kg tamarind
• 1 kg granulated sugar
• 3 - 4 green chilies
• 1″ piece of ginger
• Salt to taste
• 3-4 tbsp roasted cumin seeds
• Mint leaves for garnishing
• Juice of 2 lemons
Method
1. Wash tamarind with water, soak in water along with sugar, ginger and green chilies.
2. After 8-10 hours, mash the soaked ingredients and sieve them into a bowl.
3. Add 2 litres of water, lemon juice and the rest of the ingredients to the above mixture.
4. Mix them all well. Also add mint leaves to the mixture.
5. Refrigerate the drink for 2 hours and serve.
