Apple Soup-II


• 500 gm Sour Apples
• 120 gm Sugar
• 30 gm Butter
• 1 tbsp. Cider Vinegar
• Juice and Grated Rind of 1 Lemon
• 2 tbsp. Corn flour
• 2 cups Water
• 2 tbsp. Milk
• 1 tbsp.. Currants.

1. Chop the apples and cook with the juice and rind of lemon.
2. Pass through sieve when soft, then return to pan with the water, vinegar, currants, and enough sugar to taste.
3. Cook gently until the fruit is soft, then thicken with the corn flour blended with the milk, and stir in the butter.
4. Cook for 5 minutes and serve hot.
