Orange Squash

Ingredients

• 400 ml orange juice
• 900g sugar
• 400 ml water
• 10 drops orange emulsion
• 2 tsp citric acid
• 1/2g potassium meta bi sulphate
• 1g sodium benzoate

Method

1. In a vessel, add sugar, citric acid, 400 ml water and heat until the sugar dissolves. Cool and sieve to a fine liquid.
2. To this, add orange juice, orange emulsion and mix well.
3. In a cup of water, dissolve potassium meta bi sulphate and sodium benzoate and add to the above juice.
4. To serve, mix 3 glasses of water to 1 glass of squash.
