US Open, Day 8, Order of Play: Djokovic, Alcaraz hunt quarter-final berth

The day begins with high-profile fourth-round matchups featuring Jessica Pegula and Carlos Alcaraz, both hoping to cement their places in the quarter-finals.

One of the day’s most closely watched matches will feature Taylor Townsend, who made headlines earlier in the tournament for her confrontation with Jelena Ostapenko over on-court behaviour. Townsend, still alive in both singles and doubles, will face two-time Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova at Louis Armstrong Stadium in what promises to be a fiercely contested battle.
