Mandhana Makes History: First Indian Woman to Score Centuries in All Cricket Formats

Smriti Mandhana has etched her name into cricket history, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve centuries in all three international formats: Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.

This remarkable feat was accomplished during the first T20I match between India Women and England Women at Trent Bridge. Mandhana delivered a stunning performance, scoring 112 runs off just 62 balls.

Leading as captain, Mandhana showcased a dominant display, hitting 15 fours and three impressive sixes. Her aggressive yet composed innings propelled India to a formidable total of 210/5 in 20 overs, marking their highest-ever T20I score against England.

This century was also Mandhana's first in T20Is, completing a rare achievement that had eluded all other Indian women cricketers until now. Her century set an aggressive tone early in the innings, combining elegance with power.

Valuable contributions also came from Harleen Deol, who scored 43 off 23 balls, and Deepti Sharma, who added 7 not out off 3 balls. India maintained a strong run rate throughout the innings. Lauren Bell was the most successful of England’s bowlers, taking three wickets.
